Creo que yo llegaría... dependiendo de la situación el motivo. Bueno, si voy al trabajo, obviamente llegaría temprano. Si tengo un evento importante, ya sea una reunión familiar, una graduación o una boda, intentaría llegar a tiempo. Pero si es una fiestita así de ir a charlar o de ir a conocer gente nueva, entonces ahí yo intentaría llegar un poco retrasado ---si no soy la única invitada, ¿verdad?--. Si es una fiestita con varia gente pues yo intentaría llegar un poquito retrasado, solamente esperar que la cosa se ponga buena en la fiesta y pues ahí llego. Pero para el trabajo sí, temprano; a tiempo para eventos importantes, y retrasado en fiestitas
I think I would arrive... depending on the situation, the reason. Well, if I'm going to work, obviously I would arrive early. If I have an important event, whether it's a family gathering, a graduation, or a wedding, I would try to arrive on time. But if it's a little party just to go chat or meet new people, then I would try to arrive a little late --if I'm not the only guest, right?--. If it's a little party with several people, well, I would try to arrive a little late, just wait for things to get good at the party and then, well, I show up. But for work, yes, early; on time for important events, and late for little parties.
