Elijo esta década, no elijo otra década. Las otras décadas las mujeres eran discriminadas, eran consideradas para la casa, para la cocina, para el placer de su pareja. No tenían voz, no tenían voto, no tenían nada. Y en esta década en la cual me encuentro, sí, yo soy mujer que tengo voz, tengo voto. Puedo expresarme sin miedo y con la historia pasada, la mujer no era nada. Yo creo que se le consideraba como una esclava. Esclava de la casa, esclava del marido, esclava sexual, porque no podían opinar. Y hoy en día sí podemos. Si yo digo no es no, si yo digo sí es sí. Entonces que así elijo esta década, no elijo otra.
I choose this decade, I don't choose another decade. In the other decades, women were discriminated against, they were considered to be for the home, for the kitchen, for their partner's pleasure. They had no voice, they had no vote, they had nothing. And in this decade that I find myself in, yes, I'm a woman who has a voice, I have a vote. I can express myself without fear, and in the past, women were nothing. I think they were considered slaves. Slaves to the house, slaves to their husbands, sexual slaves, because they couldn't give their opinion. And nowadays we can. If I say no, it's no; if I say yes, it's yes. So that's why I choose this decade, I don't choose another one.
