Si tuviera... que vivir en otra década... simplemente no elegiría ninguna... porque... en otras décadas, tocando el tema... con relación a la mujer... en otras décadas la mujer... tenía costumbres muy diferentes a las de hoy. Muchas veces se creía que su función principal... era de cuidar del hogar, de la casa, cuidar de los hijos, del esposo. Desde mi punto de vista... valoraba mucho la obediencia, el sacrificio por la familia. Las opiniones y las decisiones de las mujeres... tenían menos peso en aquella sociedad que la de los hombres. Muchas, muchas veces enfrentaban limitaciones de no poder estudiar, de no poder superarse, sólo con la sencilla razón de que tenían que dedicarse a los hijos, al esposo, a ser amas de casa. Pero en la década actual es diferente. La mujer tiene los mismos derechos que el hombre, las mismas oportunidades que el hombre. Tienen acceso a la educación, al trabajo, a tomar decisiones. En mi opinión... no elegiría ninguna otra década.
If I had... to live in another decade... I simply wouldn't choose any... because... in other decades, speaking on the topic... in relation to women... in other decades women... had customs that were very different from today. Many times it was believed that their main role... was to take care of the home, the house, take care of the children, the husband. From my point of view... obedience and sacrifice for the family were highly valued. Women's opinions and decisions... carried less weight in that society than men's. Many, many times they faced limitations, not being able to study, not being able to better themselves, simply because they had to dedicate themselves to the children, the husband, to being housewives. But in the current decade it's different. Women have the same rights as men, the same opportunities as men. They have access to education, to work, to making decisions. In my opinion... I wouldn't choose any other decade.
